Proposal as how to expand/broaden audience/increase sales

Ideas How to Expand and Broaden Audience
 As our song is a slow indie song which will reach out to the indie audience so we will have to make a video that will target other audiences such as the urban genre or pop genre. To do this we will go against the typical indie video which is slow and so by doing this we will use fast paced editing. We will also dress differently from the typical indie image which will reach out to a more urban image, we will wear casual clothing and not skinny jeans like punk rockers.

This is a typical person you would see in one of these music videos. I dress and look much different to this.










Also the song is about a love story so in order to capture the teen market, we will tell a love story (which teenage girls love and relate to). We will tell the story of a teenage break up, and the video will involve both teenage boys and girls which willr each out to teenagers and not just people in their mid 20's. We will also involve people of difefrent races which may capture different audiences.

Increase Sales

Targeting different audiences will increase our sales. We could also increase our sales by promoting our music video via music websites such as NME and other music videos but also add it on youtube and create our mown website. Our song will be played on music channels and will be added to youtube. Our video will be contraversial as it can be to ensure sales and people talking about it. Word of mouth is extremely important as people will want to log on to youtube to wtach it much liek Rebecca Blacks video "Friday".
