In order to create our music video we must create a script which we will work from. This is different from a film script as it will just be a list of scenes and shots. But this will help us keep organized and on task and save us from filming random scenes which will not work in our music video. We have al;so created an animatic and story board of our scenes so we will be prepared when it comes to filming,.
Shot 1
The actress will be playing the guitar in a dark room.
This is because the beginning of the video is the artist playing the guitar.
This will be a mid shot of the artist playing the guitar
Shot 2
The actress will be singing on the stage very dramatically like she is performing a show.
Shot 3
The artist will be sitting against black curtains
This will be a close up and high angle shot to show the artists emotional state which is very vulnerable
Shot 4
The artist will be in the park with her ex boyfriend this will be in black and white as it will be reminiscing on past happy memories. This will be long shots
Shot 5
The artist will be on her own in the park and it will be a long shot to show isolation now she is not with her boyfriend.
Shot 6
The artist will be standing on a bridge this will be long shots and mid shots
Shot 7
The artist by the lake this will be extreme close ups to show the artists emotion, she will be singing directly towards the camera
Shot 8
The artist will be sitting in a room writing lyrics this will consist of long mid and close ups. Some will be extreme close ups to show her emotional state. The camera will focus on the paper in which she is writing her lyrics buta lso on her crying while writing them.
